Students who show special potential are put forward by classroom teachers to our Students With A Need (SWAN) team to have a differentiated program designed to challenge and support their talents. These students are tested by our guidance officer to be formally identified as gifted and talented.
Gifted students are encouraged to participate in annual competitions such as Inversity of NSW Global International Competition and Assessments for Schools External link (ICAS) testing program which enables their talents to be acknowledged in comparison to a wider group of peers.
Annually, gifted students are given the opportunity to attend the Expanding Horizons External link camp with students from other schools in our district.
