Warwick West State School has been educating the children of Warwick since 1956. The largest State Primary school in our town, Warwick West State School has an enrolment of approximately 560 students, across prep to year six as well as an Early Development Centre and Special Education Unit.
Acting Principal, Kath Wenban and Deputy Principal, Alicia McMillan are part of a sixty-strong staff who strive to remain abreast of current Education Queensland directives whilst creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment for all-comers.
Our values and belief system is shaped by our motto: Security, Healthy relationships, Integrity, Nurturing and Excellence (SHINE) which forms the foundation for the school's positive culture and behaviour management policy. Unique to this school are our daily parades built around music appreciation and positive communications which ensure that everyone commences the day with a smile.
