Together we can make great things happen
We understand that regular, open communication between home and school lays the best foundations for learning.
There are many ways that our school promote this ideal:
Firstly, parents and carers are warmly welcomed and encouraged to play an active part in their child's education. The doors are always open at Warwick West State School.
Another useful conduit between teachers, parents and carers is the term-by-term letter updating parents on details of teaching and learning content, assessment topics and dates as well as special events.
Parents and carers are also invited to take up the invitation for a face-to-face interview with teachers during Semester 1 and again in Semester 2. Dates and times for these will be advertised in the school newsletters and accessible from the SOBS (schools online booking systems) quick link on the home page.
Student report cards are sent home to parents at the end of each semester.
Class
teachers can communicate with parents and carers via email. Parents and carers are encouraged to ensure their email contacts are correct.
